How To Access and Navigate the AppWork Technician App Maintenance Teams - Supervisors, Technicians, Porters, and Housekeepers

What Is AppWork

AppWork is a all inclusive solution for maintenance management. This includes, work orders, make ready tasks, and inspections. 

Utilizing AppWork will allow you to contribute to the success of your team. This provides real-time communication to resident's and to your team. Leading to resident and job satisfaction.

Let's Get Started

Install the Tech App to your phone. 

  1. Installing the Technician App

Google Play Store

For technicians with an Android device, first, go to the AppWork Technician App in the play store.

Apple App Store

For technicians using a device iOS, first, go to the AppWork Technician App in the App Store.

How to Log Into the Tech App

There are three ways to login after installation of the AppWork App for Maintenance Teams. 

First Option and the most convenient:

  1. Click Request a text link
  2. Enter your cell phone number
  3. Receive text message
  4. Click Log In Link in text message
  5. You are now logged in. 

Second Option:

  1. Scan a QR Code
  2. Accessed by an Admin in the Admin portal
  3. Navigate to Technician Dashboard
  4. Choose the technician
  5. Click Edit Profile
  6. The tech can then scan the QR code in their profile. 

The Third Option:

  1. Insert a Login Code
  2. Accessed by an Admin in the Admin portal
  3. Navigate to Technician Dashboard
  4. Choose the technician
  5. Click Edit Profile
  6. Copy the alpha-numerical code above the QR code and input into the tech app.

Home Screen Review:

The app works in both online and offline mode.

The differences:

Online:

  1. Complete work orders
  2. Add comments and pictures
  3. Syncs work orders and tasks
  4. See new work orders
  5. Create new work orders
  6. Call or notify residents

Offline:

  1. Complete work orders
  2. Add comments and pictures
  3. Syncing is held in the background
  4. Cannot create new work orders
  5. Cannot see new work orders
  6. Cannot call or notify a resident

When connection is regained all will sync and be available again. 

Choose Work Order to begin working on. by clicking the tile. 

When Done press the Complete Button

Once the complete button has been chosen a picture and a note of completion will be required. Then you must upload and complete.
