If you tap on the "Complete" button after answering every question, AppWork will take you back to your main task screen and will automatically move the inspection into the "Completed" tab.

Inspection Categories

Within the inspection, there are sections divided by category. In the example below, you can see how to navigate between the sections by tapping on the category names in the internal navigation bar. In the case of this Move-Out inspection, you can see that there are numerous categories and that each category has a number next to it:

  • Appliances 9
  • Bathroom 18
  • Kitchen 13
  • Hallways 5
  • Safety/Lock 10
  • Bedrooms 7
  • Approach 4
  • HVAC 6
  • Closet 4
  • Living Room 9

The number indicates how many fields each category has. Each category has a progress bar at the start of the category, so you can easily track how many questions you've answered.

Going Through the List

In this example, we're going to go through the "Appliances" category of the inspection. You can see that we start with 0/9 questions completed. As soon as you select "Good" for the Water Heater, the progress bar shows 1/9 completed, and so on.

When we get to the Refrigerator, we come across an item that needs a repair. When you tap on the "Repair" status of a question, the app will prompt you to insert a comment. As you can see, the app will not assign the item the "Repair" status until you enter a comment. After typing the comment, and pressing the send button, the "Repair" status gets filled in.

In addition to finding a broken item, sometimes you will find an item that needs replacement instead of repair. In the example below, the apartment needs a new garbage disposal installed. Like with the repair, the "Replace" status will not stick until you add a comment. After sending the comment, you will see the "Replace" button filled in. After marking the Dryer as "Good
