Integrating with Yardi

Information We Need

AppWork needs the following information provided. You can also send us the "About" information from Yardi. Go to Yardi Administration, then choose Administration and “About.”

In the Yardi App

You will need to provide a Unique Interface User ID and Password for the AppWork integration. We recommended the username "AppWork Maint".

To create this ID, you must have a high administrative status like Super. Also, you have to create the ID on a “Live” account.

The AppWork user needs access to “Service Requests.”
First, add the properties you want to integrate. Then, create a new user with the following email: yosefg@appworkco.com

In the Service Request Configuration add the following: 

  • Name: AppWork Maintenance
  • Code: apprent

Make sure we have “Read” access for the File Extensions Export Permissions.

Add Each Property individually. After adding the property go to Functions.
In the Interface Configuration add AppRent Maintenance (for the Vendor Name).

Work Order Categories

If using the AppWork/Yardi integration, you must enter the following work order categories in Yardi to ensure all work orders properly sync from AppWork to Yardi:
