Create, Edit, and Deactivate Admin Profiles
Before you can create a profile for someone else, you need to have a profile created for you so you can sign in. Once you've signed in, you can start making a new profile for someone else.
Steps to Create a Profile
Click on your name in the bottom left hand side of the admin portal.
Choose Settings
Choose System Settings
Click "+ New Admin"
Click the "Name" field. Input the name of the staff member
Proceed to add the Title, The Email and the Username which should be the same.
Select Property or Properties.
Add Password. You can also choose it to be a One Time Password that will require the User to update the Password the first sign in.
Select the Role.
Super Admin, reserved for the person or persons responsible for editing and updating System Settings for the entire portfolio and have access to all properties.
System Admin, can update System Setting like adding new Admin Users. However only has access to properties assigned to them.
Admin as access to property settings and can only see properties assigned to them.
User only has access to My Settings and can only see and edit techs and other aspects of the AppWork Admin dashboard.
Basic User has limited access, cannot change the dashboard, however they can create work orders/tasks and view the system to see updates.
For New Admins Choose Display Welcome Message. This creates a pop up Welcome Message from AppWork and it offers a link to schedule a training.
Then click Submit to save.
Editing Admin
Choose Admin to Edit
Choose tab to edit - Make sure to Update Admin at the bottom of the page before navigating away to a new tab.
Password Tab
Under the "Password" tab you will have three options:
- You can reset the staff member's password
- You can select whether or not they have the ability to change their own password
- You can select if they are active or inactive.
Roles and Property Tabs
Under the "Roles" and "Property" tabs, you will have the option to change the staff member's role (hopefully after a promotion!) and select or deselect which properties they work with.
Email Tab
Under the "Email" tab you will see multiple accordion dropdowns:
From here you can toggle on and off which types of emails the staff member should receive.
Under "Maintenance Reports" at the bottom of the window, every property associated with that staff member will be listed. You can choose the properties for which the staff member should receive the daily insights report.
Actions Tab
This tab shows a detailed history of every action the staff member has done while logged into the AppWork admin portal. It will show the date, the admin's name, the IP address from which they were working, and include a short description of the action.
